a7d/A7DP 4 ordering procedure pla c e orders as sh own in the exampl e belo w , sp ecifying th e model and number. 1. a7d-2m (end cap s ): 1 pair 2. a7d-206-s @@ (switch un it with stopper): 1 piece 3. a7d-206 (switch unit): 1 piece 4. a7d-2p @ (s p a cer): 1 piece 5. a7d-206 (switch unit): 2 pieces note: standard products, such as the switch units and end caps, are not factory-assembled for shipment. contact your omron repre sentative for details on ordering factory-asse mbled sets. safety precau t ions refer to sa fe ty pre cau tions f o r all thumb w he el swit che s . hand lin g ? t he molded components of the switch use polyacetal resin and pbt resin. it is recommended that al cohol is used to wipe off dirt and smudg es from the molded components. t a ke care to prevent the alcohol from ge tting inside . ? do not u s e thinne r or other solut i ons wh ich might dam age the resin. ? t erminals can withstand a force o f 4.9 n for 10 secon ds or more (the mating streng th o f the case a nd seal), and survive bending of 20 with out breaking after returning to original po sition . d o not use excessive force or apply repetitiv e e x ternal f orce, however, when han dling terminals. in particular, take ca re to avoid drop ping th em as the termin als mig ht bend or break. ? t he setting buttons can with stand 19.6 n for 1 minute, but do n ot push the (+) and (-) buttons at the same time. so ld erin g ? usin g a solde r ing iron use a 30-w so ldering iron at a te mperature of 350 c f o r a maxi mum of 3 secon ds, a nd flush as describ ed above. do not app ly force to the termin als during sold ering and for 3 minut es after soldering is completed. do ing so may result in condu ction or operat ion failure. ensure that soldering flux and alco hol d o not pene trate into the switch inte rio r setting numbers pen-p u sh typ e press th e setting switch with the tip of a ball-poin t pen. do n o t use pencil point or mechanica l pen cil p o int to press t he set t ing switch, otherw i se the lead of the pencil o r mecha n ical pencil may be broken and A7DP malfunction s may re sult due to fragments of the b r oken lead . screw-mou n ti ng mo dels tighten mou n ting screw s to a torq ue betwee n 0.2 to 0.24 nm, using m2.6 screws. use p l ain wa shers or spring washers toget her w i th the sc rew s . 11 4 23 5 precautions for correct use
